I'm remembering why i avoid airbnb. Friends want to go to a place that pretty much you have to go to airbnb to get a reservation. The problem with airbnb is they take your money up front, you finally get ahold of the host hours before up to when you finally arrive. They tell you the property is unavailable. The host wants you to cancel because they lose money if they do it, they wont refund on cancellations.. Airbnb support is a robot. At this point i'm going to have to do a charge back. I guess their robots can interface with the bank robots.
Booking a hotel, showing up and paying on the spot - knowing you have a room is gold. Airbnb trying to play middleman without taking any responsibility is not only a joke its just too risky. I mean a family shelling out $4,000 on plane tickets showing up to a reservation that doesn't exist and they already gave your money and you only have robots for 'support'
