If the US Senate has its way, my daughter will become eligible to get drafted along with my sons to die defending my nation's military industrial complex fucked up foreign policy.

Most males in my family have served in the military but I did not, also most Freemasons but I declined when invited. I did earn Eagle in scouting but i think it maybe has a different meaning in modern times. I think that usually military action happens when some wealthy person wants to grab resources, or some corporation wants resources. It's why we aren't invading Haiti i think. And sadly the youth are the pawns in the game. But the USA has the largest socialized organization in the world, the DOD, and it's hard to know if that diminished we would live with less luxury and freedom.
