So, I haven't used McAfee for like 2 decades. Back then it had some serious issues slowing down computers (Remember being told to disable AV to do something?)
I decided to try it and paid the fee. I've been getting these popups in Spanish. It happens all the time. I can't figure out how to get rid of the popups or at least get them in Spanish. I travel to many countries and speak Spanish in ZERO of them.
I tried contacting technical support (which is chat or phone only). I tried chat. Nobody home. Then I get an email saying they were closing my case because i never told them what was wrong (um even though nobody at McAfee was home?)
Today I decided to try their community support forum. First time I've been there, i moved the mouse to the "Create Account" link and i get a popup with a multiple question survey and text box. It asked me if I found the answer to my question and if i found the community support forum helpful. Really? So i gave them 1 star on everything and wrote 'Ok this questionnaire popped up lest then 10 seconds after i landed on the site the first time and was moving the mouse to the link to register. I suppose a whole team of engineers spent like $500,000 dollar designing this 'State of the art" popup. And nobody is using it because it pops up instantly the fist you get to the site, This is like i hear people in the news "boo hoo hoo everybody laid off and i had a bad christmas and my baby is going to be born tomorrow and my company threw me in the street and didn;t give me my monies and i have to go back to india i don't know what i;'m going to do i was in a fancy pants apartment one day and i have to go live in dirt floor hut again." And I'm sure they only hire people with Masters and PhDS. 2023 is the year of the dumbass i guess.
