I complained to google several months ago about having to "login" to the tv with an "everything" account. It's like they don't have a clue how a tv works. For one i don't watch it, it's other people watching it. So whatever excitement they have about tracking ad views whatever is skewed. They should allow the user to "authorize a device" to an account (i guess)
Anyway it sounds like it's biting them in the ass.
Android TVs Can Expose User Email InboxesAn attacker requires physical access, but it’s possible to sideload Chrome onto some Android TVs which then gives access to the users’ email inbox. Google says it’s now fixing the issue.
