They didn't answer the question I had after reading

anything that orbits a planet, or another body in space that is not a sun, is considered a moon

which is, "why aren't all the millions of objects in the rings also considered moons?"

I guess the definition of moon is more precise than that, otherwise all of the space debris around Earth would also be moons.
