so i guess in the early 1950's this dude started essentially the first MTV type program with music videos. (i'm sure the videos were great right?) anyway he was running around with teenage girls and getting busted drinking and driving so he got fired and the production company hired this young guy Dick Clark and they decided nobody liked the videos and wanted to have live dancers.
