I am not a news junkie anymore. I may have been one back in the 80s and 90s with the start of the War on Terror and the end of the Cold War but I can just barely even tell you what the headlines are these days.
But...
I have some interest in the Russo-Ukraine War and would like to get some information. I keep running into paywalls. Is this what the news is like all the time? You read a paragraph and then are told either to subscribe or to login. How can news junkies stand it? This is ridiculous. I'd go broke paying to know what I really think.
I think I will go back to my novel.
