We've studies on the rise in electricity usage due to Bitcoin mining and the extrapolations on it's impact on the environment but has anyone seen a study on the effects of internet usage on the environment?

Let's face it, one can not buy groceries without the internet being used anymore

and people compare it to the "zero" cost of credit cards and government currency, which must utilize zero, according to the nuts against bitcoin.

you know, like printing dollars and the banks and all the credit card companies with all the employees, that costs nothing at all. but Bitcoin, well that costs a fortune and burns down all the trees and blasts carbon dioxide into the air. So use government issued money because it's free.
