Basically a chat platform. You join a group chat (example: for class), then there's chat categories for any given group. That's it really.

That makes sense. One of the other choice is a Facebook group and I don't have a Facebook. I guess that I'll figure out discord.

Yeah, there's really not too much to figure out once you're in there. Mainly just gotta figure out how to join your class group which probably consists of an invite code/link.

Well surprise surprise... I had already created a discord account and signed up for the study group for my class. It is so fun being on the old side of young. You forget the stuff you did so long ago.
